[Guide] Odin doesn't detect device - Troubleshooting topic

Hey guys,
I've read already very often about people whose Samsung-Device can't connect to Odin correctly. So I decided to make a guide with several solutions/hints.
I'm not sure if there's already such a thread.:confused:
Okay here's my list:
  • Phone drivers correctly installed?

  • Kies stopped?

  • Kies-Process stopped?

  • Working USB-Cable?

  • Tried different USB-Ports? -> At the back of your computer?

  • Don't take an USB-Switch

  • Run Odin as admin?

  • Device in Download-Mode?

  • Removed SD/SIM-Card?

  • Tried different computer?

If you guys know some more solutions/hints please tell me. I'll add them to my list. :)
