Turn-by-turn mode doesn't work topic
I'm on MaximumHD 52, and I used Google Maps the other day and tried to go into turn-by-turn mode. The mode starts for a second, then it resets me back into the 'normal' birds-eye mode that's not turn-by-turn. I tried HERE Maps, and they seem to work fine, so it seems to be a software issue.
Is this something anyone else has experienced?

Tap and Go doesn't work right topic
So my wife's nexus 5 is having an issue where the phone randomly shuts off and I've determined it's a hardware problem so it's about to be sent into squaretrade. In the meantime I thought I might set up the Nexus 4 for her to use. I used tap and go to set it up and it didn't copy over a single app. What did I do wrong?

[Q] root "doesn't" work topic
Some days ago I installed a signed-flashable-prerooted zip to upgrade to Lollipop (14.5.A.0.242). I completely followed the steps, I wiped the cache, the Dalvik/ART cache and data. All went fine during the installation and so on.
Afterwards I installed Titanium Backup to remove the bloatware, but instead of completely removing the selected apps they seem to be unaffected, but when clicked on them they started and closed in a matter of seconds. The ES File Explorer doesn't seem to properly as well. For example, I can't delete the bootanimation.zip to replace it with my own.
Might there be any fix to it?

[Q] AT&T Galaxy S4 i337 doesn't connect to PC topic
I tried flashing CWM recovery onto my AT&T Galaxy S4 and because my phone does not connect to my computer via USB for some reason (the phone charges and my computer recognizes that there's a device in, but I cannot actually do anything with it) I flashed it with Flashify. I rebooted into recovery mode, and I got slapped with the "Unauthorized software has been detected on your phone!" message. So I tried rebooting, and I got stuck in a recovery mode bootloop with the same message. Eventually, I realized if I just go into download mode and reboot by pressing the volume down key, it doesn't try to go into recovery mode. I have already endlessly researched my USB problem, and yes, I DO have USB debugging on. ODIN recognizes that I have an external device in as well, but I haven't tried flashing anything onto my phone with it because I don't want to brick my phone because the connection to my PC is faulty. I'm using the charger that came with the device as my USB drive, so that's not faulty either. I know rooting my phone did this, and I'm pretty sure it's because I missed a step. I used this tutorial to root my phone:

[Q] Phone doesn't boot TWRP Recoveries topic
So I just flashed the cm12s ota and now I am trying to re root my device. So I tried a couple different versions of twrp but none of them boot up when I run "fastboot boot recovery.img". This command worked very well in kitkat and that was what I used to check if the recovery was okay.

I have an AT&T XT1058 with locked bootloader, on 4.4.4
I tried to rest it to factory, but it got stuck on 'Erasing...' (with the little droid) for more than an hour, so I reset it.
Since then it won't boot, only keep stuck on 'Erasing...'. I've tried reflashing it with ATT_XT1058_4.4.4-KXA21.12-L1.26_CFC_1FF both using RSD lite and manually using mfastboot, but no luck - the phone still boots to 'Erasing...' and sometimes after that to the recovery.
I didn't find anything in relevant threads. Does anyone have an idea?

[Q] Wifi receiver doesn't work and is causing bluetooth problems? topic
So i've been trying to figure out why my wifi won't turn on for the past few days. It started randomly turning itself on and off round a month ago and now just doesn't turn on. When i attempt to turn it on, it gets "stuck". If that wasn't enough, the same thing happened with the bluetooth. Now i can't seem to use either. Could anyone tell me what's going wrong and/or how to fix it?? Thx, Im using a D2203

Exchange (corporate) email doesn't sync topic
Guys - started using one plus one for couple of days now. My exchange email account doesn't sync properly and takes ages to get the latest mails. Once everything sync'ed properly and I was getting all new mails. All of a sudden week long mails vanished and its taking ever to sync again. Any help here pls.

TL;DR : Google Service framework won't start on-boot even after a factory reset and after flashing new ROM, and it only starts on installing a new package(app) for a brief of time then closes again.

Lately i found that Google Service framework was acting strange, i noticed that i get none GCM notification at all, and that it's service isn't active although Google Play service was active, i've no Services disabled nor any app is disabled or uninstalled.
but i also noticed something more strange, The Google Service Framework ONLY starts and becomes active when i install a new package(app), after that i receive my notification normally, but it closes after some hours again and i lose the notifications.
on rebooting the Google Service Framework won't start or becomes active until i install a new package(app), I've checked the the Receivers and enabled each one even those who were disabled by default.
i decided to do a factory reset, ... nothing worked.
i flashed a new ROM (stock ROM that i used to flash and i used it before alot) and wiped the cache, etc...
Surprisingly the problem was still the SAME !, what is the problem ? the Device is like a brand-new one.
i didn't install a single application except for the GCM tester.
i don't know what else can i fix to have it work probably.
Any ideas ?

I have installed CM 7.2 stable version on my LG Optimus One P500 successfully. But I am getting a problem, my screen goes blank during calls and doesn't comes back when the call ends.

Bought a 2nd hand T705Y, after factory reset and getting accounts and apps running after 2 days I noticed I couldn't turn on BT. A day after I get Camera Fail msg with camera app.
Stock 4.4.2 rom rooted with cf. Following online instructions I tried clearing cache, wiping cache and factory reset. Nothing helped. Finally I restored original phone firmware with Kies and everything was working again.
Now 2 days later again… both BT and Camera are giving me grief again with same symptoms.
Anyone hear of this?

[Q] S6 Doesn't sleep? topic
I have always used Better Battery Stats to monitor battery life and wakelocks, etc, but without root it's stats are limited. It does show how much time the phone "sleeps", and so far my phone is "awake" 100% of the time. I initially enabled almost everything but am wondering if everyone is experiencing the same?

htc one m7 verizon - i did something and now it doesnt boot please help topic
i had installed custom recovery and i was going to install the lollipop pac-rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2348415) after using cmd to boot the boot.img from the rom, the guide i had been reading (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...80&postcount=1) had said to reboot and i did so. After the reboot my phone had gone through htc logo then a black screen, the guide had also said "wait some minuets" so thats what i had assumed it was doing. after leaving it alone for about 10 minuets i had thought there had been an error. i tried booting the boot.img from another rom to see if it would even start, it now gets to the verizon symbol stays on that for a while then restarts. if there is any way for me to access my storage to put another rom on the phone or a way to revert it back to stock (preferably keeping the custom recovery) that would be appreciated very much.

Hey ! I am using cm12 for 3 weeks already but in the last week my phone started to have some big problem. Firstly I have got some problem with charging port so I changed it, and after 1 day after I changed it, same problem again. Secondly, after I changed the charging port my buttons doesn't work anymore ( they worked like 1 hour after I changed it ) . Now all I want to do is flashing the official ROM and never come back to cm BUT odin doesn't recognize my phone while in download mode . U have to know that i have used that PC to flash ROM before . Please help me .

I compiled CM11 with latest sources but it doesn't boot.
I did breakfast bacon and add TheMuppets prop. files repo, sync repos again. Bacon zip doesn't boot... The same build for Ville - it boots!
I am on latest TWRP. I don't know what I am missing.
