Shield tablet controller on other devices? topic

I understand that currently the controller only works with the tablet, but is it possible that somebody can find a "workaround" to get it to work on other devices like phone and pc wirelessly? It's such a nice controller, and I feel it's going to waste since I can't use it on other devices! My droid turbo supports wifi direct, but it wouldn't show up in the list.
