Hello!

I rooted my device, and then realised there was an update I needed to do, and to do that, I needed to use a stock bootloader. I went through the process of restoring a stock recovery (tried a few actually. RIght now it appears to be a verizon one)

When I try to update my phone, I get an error: This Package is for "htc_himawhl" devices; this is a "htc_mawl." I think my device thinks its not an M9, but some earlier release. Does anybody have a stock recovery specifically from sprint and how do I go about fixing this error?

I've feel I've made a huge mistake.
