[Q] does "fastboot flash splash" work on 2nd gen? topic

There is no mention of changing the initial splash screen on the 2nd gen sub-forums.

Wondering if this still works and I can just use the 1st gen guide to change it to a landscape?

Is the little lock symbol at the bottom part of the stock splash screen or does some other boot code put it there?
