Does "Ok google" command work when screen off on M9? topic

Hi, I will purchase M9, but I want to know if "Ok google" command works when screen off. It is said that there is a seperate chipset that recoganizes the command when screen off on some devices like galaxy note4 and nexus 9. I tested it on my HTC M7, doesn't work.
