[Q] 3 Network Branded - Powering off topic
Okay my friend at work has an 820 branded by THREE in the UK and he has an issue with it powering off :
It will power off after the THREE boot screen or it will randomly power off after booting into Android, this is not a proper power off it just turns off instantly and stay off untill you power the handset back on.
He's not rooted or custom recovery its totally stock and hitting software update reports he's up to date, he's had it sent to HTC and they state that they can't reproduce the issue.
I'd hazard a guess they flash a Software that's factory for this unit, so the Three firmware might be slightly different than what they use to test the handset.
Is there a Stock Factory image for this device that's non-branded that he could flash to his device to test ? im not really up to speed on HTC devices as im a nexus guy but he's asked me to look into it for him to see if there is a better route to go down than calling it a dead loss.
