I'm on a Verizon Network Extender that connects to my router, which I have used for years, but mention that as a clue. I have just upgraded from a Note 3 to a Note 4 (Verizon certified pre-owned), and everything has been fine. But a few days ago this problem started. When I answer the phone, there is no sound at my end or the other (because I have asked). The connection shows as a call in progress, but no sound. The next incoming call might be fine (problem is intermittent), and I have not had the problem with outgoing. I have also not had the problem when I am away from home and not using the network extender.

This has now happened several times over the last 4 days. I called tech support and they could not resolve it. I am not on enhanced calling. I have tried resetting the network extender. It almost felt like it would if the audio was going to bluetooth, so I turned off bluetooth in case it was making a connection to a device out in the car, etc. This did not solve it.

If anyone has any ideas, that would be great. I'm hoping it's not a hardware issue with the pre-owned phone. I've bought and used lots of pre-owned electronics without problem.
