Using TB To Backup on KitKat and Restore on Lollipop topic
Hey guys quick question, is it a bad idea to do a app+data backup of my apps using TB on 4.4.4 ROM and firmware and then upgrading firmware+ROM to 5.0.1 and then restoring my apps+data? If it makes any difference I'd be going from CleanROM 3.0 to CleanROM 4.0 with a full wipe. All feedback is welcome and appreciated, thanks!

[Q] Downgrading to KitKat from Lollipop topic
Is it possible to safely downgrade from Lollipop back to KitKat? I have a TWRP backup that I can restore from, but I'm not sure if it will work after updating to Lolipop in case if I don't end up liking Lollipop.

I am on stock lollipop rom rooted with dual recovery. I had backed up Kitkat before flashing lollipop. Now i want to downgrade to kitkat. Can i just restore the kitkat backup from TWRP? will that work? somewhere I read that the bootloader is upgraded and if you restore the backup it may brick the device?

Is it possible to go back to stock kitkat 4.4.4 ftf from a stock lollipop 5.0.2 without having any issues like losing imei number or any other problems? My xperia z ultra 6833 was not upgraded from 4.4.4 to 5.0.2 with Ota. I flash with a stock 5.0.2 ftf via flashtool

[Q] Some questions about Kitkat topic
Hello guys,
I have a problem with my phone which is a thl T6 PRO running Kitkat 4.4.2 with root access:
First I want to push/add the Google keyboard' s apk to system/app to remplace the stock keyboard but after reboot the phone says that the Google keyboard force close, I need a specific apk file ?
Moreover I want to know that if i past "ro.config.low_ram.mod=true" in my build.prop I can make my phone "smoother" ?
Any help will be appreciated :)

..since sadly, I'm really not impressed with Lollipop. Battery life seems worse, the supposedly better interface feels far inferior to me and various other small little things that made me realise I really, really liked 4.4.4.
So I have some questions:
1) What's the process to follow for this? I've seen some links I *think* are right, but can't be sure. (Note that I'm considering rooting and would want to keep my DRM keys etc., if I can).

Since the update to kitkat i have not able to remove bloatware apps like in jelly bean.
I have been able to remove apps like:
PressReader
Amazon Kindle
Zinio Reader
more of that type....
But the apps that i'm not able to remove is apps like:

Hello, everyone. I'm new to Android. I recently purchased a new Samsung Galaxy S4 GPE. I love the phone, but lollipop is very buggy. I liked KITKAT 4.4.4. I was curious if someone could help a new user in a step by step fashion how to downgrade my GPE lollipop to kitkat 4.4.4??? how to revert from lollipop to any kitkat rom topic
I installed recently lollipop stock firmware and I want to revert to kitkat in order to install the recovery and flash the future v3.2 rom.
I tried flashing 2 different kdz firmware (10b and 10f) through download mode and the process is completed successfully 100% but the phone goes into reboot loop on both versions.
how can I revert to any kitkat rom ?

As the title says does anyone know how to revert back to KitKat on the Z3 Tablet Compact from the latest lollipop update? I have the 16gb WiFi version. KitKat seems so much smoother and nippier than lollipop. Lollipop a bit of a disappointment. I did a full reset to and am still not impressed. Thanks for your help.

SDCard: First, screenshot is completely not working. Also, we can't install the apps that install to SDCard by default.
Wifi: Wifi toggle not working. Unless you set "Allow google services scan wifi any time" in wifi option, wifi can't turn on again after you turn off it. When this occurs, you will need to reboot to activate wifi again.
Random reboots: Random reboots are often, and reboots become much more after activate ART mode.
Random reboots are almost always occurs when you just turned off the screen.
Bluetooth: It can turn on, but can't search devices around.
Lags: Some apps like root explorer/browser lag obviously.
This seems to be a kernel bug. But I discover a strange thing: root explorer lags obviously, but some other file explorers such as cm file manager don't lag. I'm not a Android Developer and don't know why. Probably @bilal_liberty knows......
