So, the M9 has had a lot of criticism these past couple weeks. Rather than just bash it and beat HTC over the head with a bat, perhaps we can simply throw out some thoughts and suggestions on what would have made it "better". Maybe HTC will take note. :)
Here are a couple of mine...

Camera;
Perhaps a duo camera set up could have been retained using the new 20mp and the 4up cameras. With them, a new camera software that would allow the use of the 4up one for night shots and the 20mp for day shots.

Design;
The front of the m9 would have looked a lot better with a single pane of glass. The much talked about black bar would be a non issue and the front would look as sexy and seamless as the back. I wonder if decent speaker grills can me made in a pane of glass.

Functionality;
The power button being close so the volume buttons has lead to unintended presses. Having the power button all alone (on a side by itself) would be more functional.

Performance;
Not much to say here except poor HTC have been let down by their chip supplier. Hopefully qualcom can improve this.
