[Q] Sound Distortion after Phone Call topic
I will be uploading a video soon to clearly present my situation.
Would anyone know why I'm experiencing sound distortion as soon as I hang up a phone call? What I'm trying to say is whenever I hang up a call, it makes the hang up -beep- perfectly fine, but as soon as I make any softkey sounds, volume increase/decrease sounds or the lock sound, all sound becomes distorted and robotic. This continues until I lock my device and unlock it, or until I stop making sound for 7 seconds. It seems like a background process continues to run after I hang up a phone call.
This happens on all CM/AOSP based ROMs for me.
This does not happen on Stock Based ROMs.
I'm currently using SlimKat 9.0 with a 10b JB Modem.
This also happens on other JB Modems/AOSP-Modified KK modems as well.
I have also tried Furnace Kernel for CM with no luck.
Note: The bug does not occur with headphones plugged in.
I've found 2 related questions to this issue on XDA, none of them have any proposed solution.

For what it's worth, I've attatched a stupidly large logcat of me performing the call, hanging up, making the weird sounds, and then locking/unlocking my device. Didn't know what else to share to help with this problem, but I hope it can shed some insight.
I tried the recent audio_policy.conf fix but it doesn't seem to have changed a thing. I guess that makes sense since it was mainly a fix for distortion in VoIP applications, but felt like trying it anyway.
Important Edit: I've narrowed it down to when the problem happens. It's happens when I make any system/notification sound in the first 5-7 seconds of hanging up a phone call. With my ear up against my G2, I hang up from a phone call, and hear absolute silence. But when I instantly press on a softkey or change my volume, the speakers turn on (I can hear this light windy sound notifying me that they're on and receiving data/sound) and they remain on for about 7 seconds (if I don't cause any more sound). If I keep making sounds by pressing more softkeys or changing my volume the speaker continues to be on and all sound is horribly distorted and robotic, at least until I stop making sound for 5-7 seconds.
Thinking it might be a baseband issue, I tried the following modems, yet none have worked.
LGD802_10B_ESA_RADIO.zip
LGD802_10B_EUR_RADIO.zip
LGD802_10e_AME_XX_RADIO.zip
LGD802_10B_SEA_RADIO.zip
D802_EUR_KKMODEM_AOSP.zip
Thanks to anyone who can help or shed some insight :). I thought I'd ask here first before starting a bug report.
