[Q] Phone dead trying to restore to sock topic

Hi All,

I tried Oxygen OS yesterday and found it to be quite nice. However I decided to go back to stock and about halfway through the process the phone died and now it won't do anything - no boot up, no fastboot, no recovery. USB connection (sometimes) shows the phone as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 so I decided I might try the fix contained in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55024864&postcount=136

But I am a bit reluctant to mess with the phone to that degree.

Any thoughts?
