[Q] HTC Media Link ~ Not compatible after lollipop! topic

SOCIALIZE IT ⇨

I have a rooted HTC One M8, and I recently updated to 5.0.2 via SkyDragon.

Admittedly, it's been a while since I used my media link, but I was quiet surprised to see the message.... "Unfortunately, HTC framework resource has stopped" when I tried to set it up. Does this mean the new framework is simply incompatible with the lollipop framework? Is this just a way for HTC to quietly phase out the media link?

Has anyone found a fix for this yet? Apparently this issue is not exclusive to my device, as I've seen similar comments on various forums about lollipop/media link incompatibility in general.

If I have to factory reset back to 4.2 or something, I will but I would rather not. I really miss viewing my movies in 1080p. Any suggestions?
