[HELP] I just broke the screen and I need to recover my files topic

AS the tittle says, my screen is broken. I've been trying to recover my files and I found something: A program that allows me to control my smartphone from the PC. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2786395
So I didnt enable Usb debbug, thus I cant control it, I dont know what ADB is , I did a research but I dont understand. So far I know this, I need to install ADB and install the ADB drivers for LG e975, and the kernel with ADB enabled.
I really dont know much about phones. Sorry for bad english.
