Have an S2 that I need to install TWRP and Cyanogenmod topic

I have an S2 that I have that is right now at factory stock. So I was looking at what to do, and apparently I need to repartition the phone, and do a special wipe on it. I have used an S2 before and don't remember needing to do that. Also was wondering if I would need to update my radio as well, as I had a problem with that before.
