I just bought a new Tab S, but it seems the Lollipop update isn't out in Australia yet.

I have a couple of questions:

1) If I flash the Lollipop update from another region, can I do this using Kies, and will it be likely to work and/or affect my Knox?
2) If I decided to flash something else (e.g. CM), that is guaranteed to affect my Knox, yes?
3) If Knox is tripped, does that then invalidate ALL warranty permanently, including hardware faults?

I suspect these are common questions, but I googled them to no avail...
