Any way to unlock the bootloader on a Verizon GS3 with 4.4.2? topic

I have an old GS3 from Verizon with 4.4.2. I want to give it to my daughter for playing with but I want to be able to pin apps so I wanted to put Lollipop on it. So how can I unlock the bootloader? I've already rooted it. I do not need it to function as a phone if that makes it easier in any way.
