Updating via OTA to CM12.1 to CM12 cause bootloop topic

SOCIALIZE IT ⇨

I installed CM12 on my HTC One M8 a few days ago.

Now there is an update to CM12.1 however when I update using the built in updater and install the update, the phone goes into bootloop

I have reinstalled the previous ROM I used before and now the phone is working fine however why can I not update via OTA?

My current CM12 version is 12-20150416
The version I want to update to is 12.1-20150419
