[Q] Urgent!-Stuck In lock screen after flashing kitkat on S3 mini topic

Hello,
After rooting my S3 mini successfully, I went on to upgrade my phone to kitkat. However, after rebooting I became stuck on the new lock screen and despite entering my password 10 times, it kept on saying wrong password. Please can anyone help - it's urgent!!
