[Q] TW ROM for a girlfriend? topic

Hey, guys :) I know the "what's the best rom" threads and questions are not allowed, and that's really not what I'm asking here, I just need a few hints and recommendations. The title pretty much sums my issues up - I'm looking for a ROM for my girlfriend's S3. She's a fan of TouchWiz (well, at least the looks of it) and the phone's an i9300, the international variant.

The ROMs we've tried so far (and the occurring issues):

-QS-i9300-KK (Final version) (she used it for the longest period, but after a month or so, random force closes and even reboots start happening)
-back-to-n00t (seemed okay, but sluggish, so I flashed the boeffla kernel, but then I noticed it wouldn't charge so I bailed and flashed the next ROM I had downloaded... later figured out that it was the boeffla kernel - it wouldn't allow charging the S3 with my (genuine OEM) Moto charger (it's 5.1v, 850mA)?)
-Sensation v10 (was slow to open basic apps like messaging, dialer, etc. :( )
-Blekota S5 Lite V11 (the lockscreen background could not be changed at all :D )
-Omega Droid v61 (all is well, except the battery, which is draining insanely quick... I don't have the time to log her phone, so I'll just a flash a different ROM)

Should I revisit some of the mentioned ROMs, perhaps? Thinking of re-trying back-to-n00t, now that I figured out the charging thing had to do with the boeffla kernel... Or perhaps we'll try Blekota's Note 4 Lite, it's based on back-to-n00t. Also, I need to stress that all the ROMs have been flashed after a full wipe of the phone (TWRP - Wipe - Advanced Wipe - everything except the external SD ;))

And...any further recommendations? They can be both 4.3 or 4.4 ports, whatever you've had great experience with. Battery life, stability and performance are priorities, the appearance isn't that much important :) She did like the S4 / S5 / N4, but she's also fine with the S3's 4.3 TouchWiz appearance.

Please, guys, a hint or two would be welcome :) I really don't want to flash it back to stock, even I remember that it was just painfully laggy :( And if I were to clean-up the stock ROM a bit, I'm sure I would not be able to do as good a job as the experienced S3 developers do.

Thanks :)
