[Q] Is it possible to have a rooted D955 runing kitkat? topic

I'm going to buy the Flex, and trying to make sure I'll be able to root and run kitkat on it.
I've found this thread about upgrading to KK: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2760805, but it says it'll remove the custom recovery, and all the rooting methods I've seen require JB. So... there's a catch 22 thing going on?
