I've had a TF201 for probably a year and a half now. I got it from a friend who had bricked it and didn't want to deal with it anymore.

At the time, I had gotten it working and flashed a couple of different ROMs on it. But it honestly never ran very well- it would freeze and stutter, even after tweaking the fsync settings (this is all from memory), the WiFi antenna was really weak, and it was very slow to respond to touch, so it was not very fun to use at all...

As a result, after experimenting with it for a little while, it got used less and less. Long story short, I dug it up and decided to see if I can find a use for it.

I was so surprised to see people still actively working on this thing (kinda).

Please give me some tips and, if you don't mind, point me toward instructions to get what I want out of this thing.

Right now, it is running CleanROM 3.4.1 with TWRP 2.6.0.0.

When I last checked XDA, the cool thing was to use AndroWook's Hairybean ROM, but it required some extra bootloader flashing or something.

I'm going to list my priorities and humbly ask that you guys make a suggestion based on them. They are roughly in order of priority.

* I also want WiFi and the camera to work
* I want the little keyboard attachment to work
* I don't want it to randomly reboot all the time (I saw some people running some 5.1 ROMs and complaining about nearly constant reboots- that isn't for me)
* I want the performance to be better than it was. It's so laggy and horrible...

I don't care if it's the most recent version of Android, but I'd prefer something new enough that might get security fixes...

I also tend to prefer AOSP-based ROMs.

But what are the current options? I saw about KitKass and CM. I guess HairyBean is still around- is it being updated? I'm a little nervous about the extra steps needed to flash up-to-date ROMs on this guy, so if you don't mind pointing me to the most current instructions, that would be awesome!
