I have a T-Mobile Galaxy S III (SGH-T999) that is in perfect working order except it has a cracked screen. I have access to a friend's no-longer-used Galaxy S III (former Verizon SCH-I535) with a mint-condition screen and I have also seen clean screens for sale very cheaply.

Is it reasonable to expect that I can swap a clean screent to my SGH-T999 without special equipment or service-center help?
