[Q] APN setting and MMS trouble topic
Hi, welcome to xda, me. I'm a long-time lurker, first-time poster. Anyway, I am running Alliancerom on a Verizon S3. I can't get MMS to work properly in any texting app (though some are worse than others). I've read that this could be due to messed up APN settings, but I can't edit them in the settings of the phone or any of the texting apps. I can edit the apns-conf.xml file, but so far my edits haven't helped. I'm sure I'm not making the right edits though, because I can't find the same settings from one page to the next. I'm also looking for an apns-conf file from a stock S3, to see if that works; so far I haven't found one. I've looked this issue up on xda and other forums, but to no avail. Thoughts, anyone?
