[Q] ADB shell error -exec /system/bin/sh failed: No such file or directory topic
hey guys i've recently bricked my tablet with chainfire 3d and ive been trying to remove it with adb.
I went to google dev. downloaded android-sdk-windows. Ran sdk manager and installed adb tools+android 4.2.2 api. After that I went to cmd, went to C: - android-sdk-windows - platform-tools - adb. Worked fine. I typed adb devices and saw that my tab is in recovery with the command 'adb devices'. I needed adb shell, but I got the error above.
I tryed:
adb usb
adb kill-server followed by adb start-server
reboot tablet.
Any advise?
I can't enter the device so the other thread with the exact same problems wont help me at all. Its useless asking me the model, because you wont find the model on the web for CWM, ROM etc. Some dude told me that its because I dont have a custom recovery, but I can't really do much about that. There aint no CWM for my model, only if somebody is going to make me one.
Could I please not be redirected? Because I think nobody had his tab bricked like mine with those errors. I would appreciate any kind of help.
Useful info:
recovery options: -reboot system now
-apply update from ADB sideload
-wipe data-factory reset
-wipe cache partition
-apply update from ext sd, internal sd
-apply update from cache
I dont have any backup of the ROM. I do have the stock rom of this tablet, but I can;t flash it because of this stupid stock recovery. Halp? :)
Tab specs:tableta model: r80bt
android 4.2.2
as specs its really similar to tab 3:
quad core 1.2Ghz Allwiner a31s, gpu PowerVR SGX544 MP2 - 355 Mhz, 7.85", 1GB ram
