Is Method for unlocking bootloader with 5.0.2 different from 4.4.4 ? topic

When I bought the phone ..it came with Android 4.4.4 KitKat ...I just searched and found videos of how to unlock boot loader ...but in every video people had jellybean and the description always said that method is different for 4.4.4 ...I have 5.0.2 now and I want to unlock boot loader ...I just wanted to know if its different for 5.0.2 as well ...yes or no ...also provide a link to a guide to unlock the boot loader... Thanks :):):confused:
