Google Fit missing and incompatible, HR Sensor on, what do i do? topic

I can see there are a lot of threads about the heart rate monitor after lollipop. The answer is to uninstall google fit. My note 4, doesn't have google fit (although it did before the upgrade), and says it is incompatible. So there's nothing to uninstall. Any ideas?
