ALL sensors stopped working?? topic

Guys, a couple weeks ago I noticed my accelerometer stopped working (would no longer rotate images). I didnt think much of it, maybe an app was causing issues, etc. Later I realized my auto brightness was going wacky. So then I looked into it and it seemed NONE of my sensors worked. I went into the service menu *#0*# and in the sensor button, no values change.

So then I stumbled upon a thread for the Spring Note 3 where I had to move a file into system/lib and give rw--r--r permissions. I rebooted and everything worked. I thought I was good

But nope. A day later and everything is back to not working. The fact they worked temporarily makes me think its software related. Perhaps I installed an app that is causing issues, or accidently deleted a file needed. Something like that?

Or is it just that the hardware is dead plain and simple? The phone is on 4.4.2 Kitkat, NC2, rooted
Thanks!
