OTA 5.1 Update Fails on my Unrooted Nexus 5 topic
Hi,
I rooted my Nexus 5, following the steps by WugFresh, using the Nexus Root Toolkit.
I later unrooted and a while afterwards, the 5.1 OTA was released. When I downloaded the OTA and tried to update, it failed with the "/system/bin/install-recovery.sh has unexpected contents. Status 7" error
Please guide me on fiding help to fix this.

I am wondering how I can finally migrate away from stock. I am running 4.4.2 on SM-P900 without device encryption.
Since I am still unrooted, I am guessing I need to use Odin3 (not v3.07). Is there another method that does not require a PC? I only have access to a macosx

Speed tweaks for unrooted Verizon version. topic
Hello there, I figured since we can't unlock the boot loader we need to take every advantage we can for speed. First, even though it's a low resource launcher, I replaced it was apus and have had great results on open ram.
2. There are many services you can disable from Motorola and Verizon without negative effects. This can be done through the running processes menu in apps,I recommend disabling first then uninstalling if possible. I wish I had a list of the ones I disabled but I wasn't taking notes at the time.
3. If the moto notification tool is still running after installing apus them disable it in settings, even with the Google launcher I recommend doing this.
4. Enable developer options, and move the animations to .5 or off.
5. Reboot to recycle your ram and see how your experience is. Hope this helps someone, I am much happier with the performance now.

[Q] Unrooted Moto e stuck on bootlogo topic
I have not rooted it , unlocked it or done anything . Its stock moto e and my dad said he was talking on phone and it suddenly restarted and now its stuck on bootlogo . I tried to get in recovery from fastboot mode but it shows a dead android with an exclamation mark. What to do ?

S5 Not Rooted & Not Unrooted topic
I rooted my s5 a couple weeks ago, with odin v1.85 afterwards my stock rom stopped working I tried flashing several different roms only the aosp roms would run, so now i decided to unroot and retry everything now the phone boots up to the sprint boot animation then freezes any one have any clue whats going on? my s5 was on 4.4.4 before rooting if that helps i'm completely new to samsung so I dont know about specific firmware, but if firmware the case please tell me.

I recently needed to make a OTA update for my rooted Galaxy Note 10.1 n8000.
So I did a full unroot using Super SU.But after I unrooted the device status is still modified and I cant update.I used rootchecker and it says its unrooted but CWM is still there if I boot into recovery.Please tell me how can I update my device OTA.

[Q] How to recover deleted internal storage data without USB cord (unrooted)? topic
Can anybody please help me?
I know Im an idiot for not backuping important data (regularly), but **** happened (still not quite sure how) and I got all the data from my internal storage erased. Now, I know that it can be easily restored (to some extent) via connecting the phone as a mass storage through USB, but the problem is that my USB port is broken. And I know that there are some apps for data recovery on Play Store, but they all require a rooted device and my is not. And again to root it I need a working USB port (my phone Huawei U9200 cant be rooted via apps such as Framaroot or Towelroot). And the problem with fixing and changing the USB port is that it is connected to the same board everything is connected to, SIM card, camera, audio jack, probably everything is on the single piece of board, so changing that would be quite expensive (and Im not sure if I can do it myself, and currently Im living in Finland where everything is 5x overpriced).
