xperia z1 update to lp (flashmode without volume buttons) topic
Hello All
any ideea if I can update the xperia z1 firmware that I downloaded with xperifirm without having access to flashmode through volume buttons?
I am on stock 4.4.4 firmware, with locked bootloader, without root.
i can enter in fastboot through adb terminal, flashtool detects the phone, drivers are installed.
is it possible to install the xperifirm downloaded firmware like this? or I should just wait for the OTA update?
OR:
since I want to play a little with the phone I was thinking that I could root it / flash custom recovery also but I think those need the buttons to be usable ...
but if you consider that I can manage with just fastboot mode and drivers installed to install cyanogenmod or something like that, please point me to the right tutorial.
P.S. in case you wonder - I won't repair the phone, i will move to z4 when available, but still, I want to have the z1 software updated :P
