[TRICK][ROOT] Rooting Stock Lollipop 14.5.A.0.242 without prerooted ftf topic
Thanks to @[NUT] for his dual recovery and Kernel builder. http://nut.xperia-files.com/
Here is what i did:
1. Downloaded D5503_14.5.A.0.242_XZDRKernel2.8.11-RELEASE.flashable.zip after uploading LP stock kernel.sin. [http://nut.xperia-files.com/?ql=ddd5...7c5f20fca198da ]
2. Extract it and copy boot.img [Here is the boot.img from my zip> https://www.mediafire.com/?05tlay9fopp57x8 ]
3. Flash the boot.img using flashtool [ Here is how to flash a kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1963961 (I didnt do the last step though)]
4. Download SuperSU flashable zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps...v2-05-t2868133
5. Boot into TWRP [vol - switch on displaying sony logo]
6. Flash BETA-SuperSU-v2.48.zip
And I got root access.
[Checked by typing su command in terminal emulator app and SuperSU asks for root permission, once i granted, i can see 'root@D5503']
