Scouring reviews for an S6 case to use instead of the bulky Otterbox I saw the usual suspects. My wife has a Spigen for her iPhone which is nice, has saved her phone, but scratches. I headed to BB and Verizon to see the Speck cases and discovered the Tech21 Evo Mesh case. I really liked the feel of the case, transparent back, and minimalism but I wondered about the protection it would provide. When I started researching this case I discovered that Tech21 has been using an amazing compound D3O for their earlier cases. I contacted Tech21 to ask if the Flexshock material is equal in protection to D3O. It took a few days for a reply:

"I am sorry there was a delay in getting back to you, the only difference between Flexshock and D3O is D3O is orange and can not be changed and Flexshock can be changed to any color. Same shock obsorbing material."

So far, I am very happy with the case. It is grippy, protects the screen and camera by extending past them, and it looks great.
