Stock 4.4.2 rooted with xposed installed, no longer receiving VM notifications topic

SOCIALIZE IT ⇨

Like the title states, I'm running Verizon LG G2 (VS980), on kitkat 4.4.2. I brute force rooted after taking an OTA update and then installed G2 Xposed.
Since installing Xposed i haven't been receiving any voicemail notifications.
Is anybody else experiencing this problem or have a fix/workaround for this problem?
