Rooting lollipop alternative methods? topic
I was wondering if a similar method to the 4.4.4 rooting still worked where you could flash an older kernel with ODIN, use something like towelroot, and then flash back the current kernel or is that not possible now? I have tried Muniz_ri's method and I get to the where I use safestrap to wipe and load the rooted backup when I do it the backup comes up a failed and have to use Odin to rollback to phone to a usable state (I don't know if it is because my SD card sucks and it is causing the backup files to be corrupted or what)
