Root new device topic

SOCIALIZE IT ⇨


I am going to purchase a Nexus 7 2013 and will be wanting to root the device straightaway. I would be grateful if someone knowledgable could tell me the best way to go about this. Also, should I root out of the box, with no ROM updates applied, or should I update to Lollipop and then root? Thanks in advance.
