I have a Gionee Elife E7 (Android 4.2.2 - 3gb/32gb - not rooted) and I wanted to apply an image I got from the Phix Icon Pack as my wallpaper, so I used the Gallery app to access the image but whenever I tapped the image, the application crashed. Then I tried to use Quickpic to view the image; it enters the picture for about 4 seconds and then the application crashes. When I viewed the image using ES File Explorer it worked fine though. I did not know what the problem was, which prevented me from viewing the image on Gallery and Quickpic.

I also tried to view the image on my Sony Xperia SP (Android 4.3 - 1gb/8gb - not rooted) on Quickpic and it worked, but if I zoomed in in the picture then it would crash the app. On the stock gallery app it worked fine however.

What is the cause of this problem?
Is it a software/firmware issue or an image issue? Other images on my gallery do not cause any of these problems.

Does this image also cause problems on any of your phones when being viewed?
