[Q] Root / "SuperSu" app and the Play Store topic

Hello!

I'm the happy owner of a new Nexus 6 (using NEXUS for the first time).

I've just rooted my device using my Mac. Wow, it worked perfectly. But I have one doubt (only!).

The root process installed "SuperSU" in my Nexus 6. OK. However, I can find this app in the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...infire.supersu. It was updated in March.

The Play Store does NOT recognize it as an installed app in my device—probably because it was not installed via Play Store. Now I'm worried. How will I get UPDATES to this app? Should I install it VIA PLAY STORE? How? Should I uninstall it before and then re-install it via Play Store? I'm affraid of doing something wrong and loose root. Maybe it will override the app if I install it via Play Store? I'm totally lost. :confused:
