[Q] Phone Dead from Overheating... Battery Drain Too Probably... Can Fix? topic

So I think I killed my phone.

I was tethering and playing a word game and all of a sudden it shut off and was super hot. Now it's dead. No light when plugged in for a charge.

I'm charging another battery on the wall charger to try and see if that works.

Is it fried?

I have my old Rezound that wouldn't boot up, I believe it's because of it trying to download the Verizon ICS update while on a custom ROM, and now I have this one. Is there any thing I can do to combine the working parts of the phones and get one going again?

I really want to keep my unlimited plan!
