[Q] OTG transfer speed very slow topic

Hi.
I bought a SATA to USB adapter in order to connect an internal HDD to my phone (I also have an OTG cable).
when using the adapter with my computer, I get around 40MB/s of transfer speed. It's very sufficient.
But using the same adapter with my phone, it takes 2 minutes to transfer a 150MB file to the phone, so the speed is a bit more than 1MB/s
Has anyone experienced the same problem?
I am using stock lollipop. I tried to mount the drive with both the internal mounting system and using the SlickMount app, with the same results.
The drive is a 160GB Samsung drive formatted to exFAT.
