[Q] Nvidia shield as a blu ray iso player topic

Hi, I am considering getting another tablet to replace my N7 2013 that has bad headphone and usb jacks. Ive used a few work arounds but I'm not that crazy about wireless file transfers. I am looking at the Shield tablet. One thing that would help is knowing it this would be good for playing blu ray isos on my home theater. I know it has min hdmi out and I think vlc will play the iso files. Right now i burn them to rewrite-able blu ray disc but it takes a long time and sometimes the dont burn correctly. Has anybody played with this idea? Will the picture and sound be ok? All suggestions ideas and comments will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
