[Q] Is there a way to "break" a game to work with a controller? topic

I got to thinking about how games can be "broken" to work with the Oculus Rift, and started wondering if the same concept can be applied to android games + controllers? Many games support controllers, but not all, and some are only partially supported. On a rooted Sony Xperia Z1s, are there any mods out there that enable some type of advanced remapping, be it for a Moga or for a generic XBox gamepad connected via OTG? Im not expecting flawless performance if such a mod exists, bugs are a given. My Sony runs a stock ROM, but i'd be open to doing or adding anything to it to get such a concept to work. The touchscreen is extremely buggy, and Sony has turned a blind eye... at least I prefer controllers over on-screen input anyway!
