[Q] Howto create a prerooted rom topic

I downloaded lollipop firmware using xperifirm and created the ftf file using Flashtol, but i want it rooted and the only solution i could find was using a prerooted rom.
I found prfcreator which can be used to create a prerooted rom from an ftf but i'm running liux and it doesn't seem to be running on linux specifically ubuntu 14.04.
Now can anybody point me to some instructions or direct me on how to create a prerooted rom on linux.
