Do you mind the size of an app/game when you download it?

Background:
When I first publish my game, it was about 24MB in size. One of my friend gave me a feedback and said that it is waaaay too big. She says that she usually never download anything larger than 10MB. Hence, I've tried very hard to reduce the resolution (without significantly compromising the quality) of images and such and brought it down to about half the size. However, I wish to add in more stuff and perhaps better sprite for my game but this issue always prevent me from doing so. Thus, I would like your feedback. Does the size of the app/game matter that much to you?
