[Q] Device not switching on topic

SOCIALIZE IT ⇨

Bought the device this morning, came home this evening and the device wont switch on. when i plug the charger in it shows on 53 percent.

I held the power button in for 30 seconds and its still not coming on. must i charge the device before using it? or is it faulty
