[Q] Bricked, please help figuring out if recoverable topic
Hard-bricked (red light when plugged in with no battery), seen as "Qualcomm HS-USD QDLoader 9008" in device manager in this state.
What I did:
Phone had a CM11 nightly from mid 2014 installed (something like 4.2.3), and was dropping calls to the point of being unusable. I thought I'd attempt to cure that by upgrading modem + bootloader + OS, which was my downfall.
Installed:
1) TWRP latest
2) d2att_I747UCUFNE4_bootloader_modem_4.4.2_7-29-14
3) I747UCUFNE4_ModemBaseband
4) CM12.1
5) Gapps
Rebooted - CM appeared to start loading, but took a long time and never finished.
I did the three button combo, and it turned off.
And now I have a brick.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
