So I am about to pull the trigger on. Gears S, but have some last questions. My use is pretty specific. I travel internationally 90 percent of the time. I have two phones. A local phone which is my primary, and then a U.S. number on AT&T which is for family. I am planning to put the AT&T sim in the gear S.

I need the Gear S to do phone calls, text, and stand alone navigation. I don't really NEED anything else. It would be nice to have Instagram, and Facebook. That's all I need from the device.

My last questions are, one to confirm that the above needs are all possible 100% standalone? And two to confirm there is a way to turn off roaming data on the watch? Or turn off cell data while leave calls and text active?
