[Q] 2015-04-06 Nightly changed the lockscreen grid - Help needed topic

Hello,
yesterday I installed the 2015-04-06 nightly of CM12 falcon on my Moto G. Before that it was running on the 2015-04-03 nightly. It had a 3x3 lockscreen and now it shows a 5x5 grid and I have no idea how to unlock my phone. scaling my pattern or trying to move my pattern did not work and after 5 tries I have to wait 30 seconds, so bruteforcing is not an option ;)

Any idea how to revert to the 3x3 grid? or how to transform my former pattern to the 5x5 grid? I tried rebooting but even holding vol_down and/or vol_up during boot did not bring me to the recovery screen. there I would have tried to reinstall the 2015-04-03 nightly...

Any suggestion is really appreciated!
