I enabled privacy and safety on my S6 gallery and then whenever it was enabled it left a stupid symbol at the top so I turned it off, now my images seem to have been renamed. When I open them in windows explorer a [1] is at the end of the filename but not in 'My files' on the S6.

It has stopped the images opening properly in Whatsapp, basically the filepath has changed and I don't know how to fix it, any ideas how to get it back to normal?

Btw my phone isn't rooted and I have no interest in doing so.
