Need help with Samsung Galaxy tab 2 7.0 topic

So, I just tried to add "<group gid="media_rw" /> in the external sd card writing on platform.xml (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...1414214&page=2)
After saving it through RB Text Editor and rebooted, everything started crashing - Chrome, Whatsapp etc.
So I went to restore back to 2014-07-06 and after I did that, I realised that that was about the time I accidentally deleted EVERYTHING from the tablet while my intention was to format it and that just made everything difficult, and took me the whole night to fix it.
I'd like to know if theres an easier way to fix this than just using ADB sideload and everything, because I don't remember anything about it.
I can't even restore back to 2015-06-04 (today), because it keeps telling me "MD5 Mismatch!"
