I have a fake note 4, and MTKDroidTools says my chip is 'MT6572 (UNIVERSAL---- is fake!)'. However, all the easy recovery creation tools I've tried that support MT6572 say something along the lines of 'sorry, this tool is for mediatek only'. The 'phone specs' apps list the chip as 'UNIVERSAL----' (cant remember exact number after universal), but these specs can be easily forged I believe. Maybe this is why the tools think my device isn't mediatek.



Can anyone point me in the right direction what to do? Can I somehow change this 'UNIVERSAL----' name to something else? Or is maybe MTKDroidTools wrong?
